You have probably come across my website because you’re struggling in some way.
I would like to offer you some reassurance until you find this on your own. Perhaps you are wondering how I can assist you. Through my intensive training and in-depth learning about myself, I have gained a deeper understanding of myself through my own counselling journey, which enables me to support you and work collaboratively to gain a better understanding of your experience of the world. We all perceive the world subjectively, based on our personal feelings, experiences, and opinions. My expertise stems from gaining a deeper understanding of myself, enabling me to work more effectively in a non-judgmental manner and listen to what is happening for you. We are constantly learning, changing, and growing every day through our experiences, and at times, we can get lost along the way.
I hope you find your way around my website easily. Please don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions.
There are links throughout my website, highlighted in aqua green; please click on them to find out more.
What I follow is a person-centred approach, and the central premise is that clients know themselves better than anyone else. I provide the tools and guidance for them to explore this.
Humanistic psychology emphasises the pursuit of self-acceptance and a deeper understanding of personal values, beliefs, and the significance of life.
As for Existential psychology, this explores our freedom of choice and the responsibilities that accompany it.
If clients are struggling to discuss specific topics, I may, if they choose to, utilise other creative tools, such as drawing, painting, and sand tray work. My approach to counselling is to allow clients to express themselves in whatever way they choose, whether through words or in a creative way.
